The Phoenix Has Risen...
Like the phoenix from Chinese mythology rising up out of the ashes, Sky Phoenix Chinese Restaurant will reopen as the premier Chinese dining destination in the new Westfield Sydney on Pitt Street Mall in November 2010.
Whether your preference is happy and friendly lunchtime yum cha or a la carte evening dining the new 500 seat capacity Sky Phoenix will server up the freshest Chinese cuisine in a stylish yet contemporary setting. The beautifully appointed contemporary restaurants designs include the traditional Chinese family style dining, private dining rooms, state of the art audio and video systems and the ever popular live fish tanks right in the heart of Syndey's CBD.
Sky Phoenix is the flagship of the Phoenix Group of Restaurants and the brainchild of sisters Alice Lee and Anita Yuen. The main priority in establishing The Phoenix Group of Chinese Restaurants was to create a series of welcoming dining venues in stylish and contemporary surroundings serving the healthiest and freshest Chinese food. "We will be flexible with our menu offerings and provide personalised service to our clientele. Our service standards and contemporary restaurant design set us aside from the more traditional Chinese restaurants." says Alice.
Average meal prices at Sky Phoenix start from $20 per person for yum cha lunch selections to around $30-$35 per person for dinner (exclusive of beverages). The menu will offer seasonal variations as well as set banquet for groups. An extensive wine list features selections predominately from Australia and New Zealand as well as a full range of local and imported beers.
Menu highlights include yum cha lunch favourites Steamed Prawn Dumplings and Mango Pancakes or a la carte specialties such as Deep Fried Sweet and Sour Whole Fish or Seafood and Pineapple Fried Rice. Special menu has been designed with preparations for gluten free and allergy requirements.
